This is the COMPLETED version of a firefox theme I said I would make many many months ago in this journal: [link]
it was specifically designed to blend perfectly with the windows 7 explorer, and with the IETab add-on, you could use firefox as a file explorer as well.
as far as I know, this only has these prequisitories
* Windows Vista or higher (Windows 7 recommended for best effect) with aero blur enabled * Mozilla Firefox 4.0 or higher
*try not to have any buttons on the navigation toolbar other than back/forward, urlbar, and search bar.
...vista version coming soon, as well as an update fixing lots of bugs and making it work for windows basic themes and other operating systems! * Stylish Add-on
and that's it.
just follow these steps: 1.) download the file 2.) download the script 3.) open the script from within the .zip OR open it directly from it 4.) copy the "usestyle.css" contents 5.) open your addons page 6.) click "write new style" 7.) give it an awesome name 8.) paste the code and save
some images and icons (c) Microsoft code (c) Aaron Wright, =AaronProductions, Aaron Productions Ltd.
WARNING: may slow startup just a little, as the code has yet to be formatted and cleaned.
I noticed a strange glitch where you can't write a new style when you have none already installed. the easiest way to do this is to set your Add-on bar to show, then to click the stylish button in the bottom left, then in turn click new style>blank style...
I hope that helped. I'm using firefox 5.0 beta as well.
(keep in mind the prerequisites though, as they are currently a bit strict. the next version should work with a regular firefox, no other addons installed.
